Mieke Meurs, Professor of Economics, American University

Workshop IV: The Care Infrastructure: Measuring Gaps and Identifying Funding Sources for Closing Them

Mieke Meurs (She/Her) is a Professor of Economics, and co-director of the Program for Gender Analysis in Economics at American University. She has published extensively on household behavior, including gender issues, and with particular focus on rural households.

She holds a PhD from University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a BS in Political Science from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
