Saniya Jilani
Workshop IV: The Care Infrastructure: Measuring Gaps and Identifying Funding Sources for Closing Them
Saniya Jilani (She/Her) is a fourth-year PhD student and Graduate Teaching Instructor in the Department of Economics at Colorado State University.
She is currently teaching Gender in the Economy and is engaged with the Institute for Women’s Policy Research (IWPR) as a Research Consultant. Her fields of interest are Feminist Economics, Political Economy, and Development Economics.
Saniya's current projects include:
- Sales force project on care infrastructure (IWPR)
- Exploring the impact of militarization on the structural transformation of the global care economy
- Social reproduction in South Asia as an aftermath of Imperialism
- Social reproduction and financialization.
